Types of Mirrors

Clear Mirror

Clear mirrors can be made from annealed or tempered glass

Clear mirrors are the most common mirros people think of.

The reflection is clear and the mirrors are used in most bathrooms, gyms and custom closets

Antique and patterned mirrors

Antique and patterned mirrors are far less common

These mirrors are sometimes used in kitchen backsplashes and behind wet bars

The reflection in these mirrors is cloudy. Gold vain is a familliar variety of this type of mirror

Mirro-Pane Mirror

Mirro-pane mirror is often called "One way" or "Two way" mirror

Mirro-pane is used in observation setting and for security

To be reflective it relies heavily on adjusting the lighting in the two areas. The observation area needs to be kept dark and the area being veiwed needs to be kept well lit.

Setting mirrors on a vanity back splash or baseboard in a gym can give all the needed suport with a frameless look

It is important that the installation is done properly for safety and the longjevity of the mirror

Moldings and clips can provide the right support when trying to set mirrors above outlets or other obstructions

We can definitely cut holes for outlets but some times it make more sense to simply hang them above the outlet

Mirrors set 12" above the floor in a gym are far less likely to break if weights are dropped
